KAWO: FM 104.3 in Boise started in 1979 as KIDQ. Call letters were changed to KUUB, KLTB, KTMY, and in 2007 to KAWO. The "Wow Country 104.3" slogan is reflected on their colorful van as seen in 2010.

KBCI TV: Channel 2 Boise came on the air in 1953 as KBOI-TV. The call letters were changed to KBCI in 1974 when KBOI Radio and TV seperated. Then in 2010 they changed the calls back to KBOI-TV (see below). This on air KBCI TV ID is from 2008.

KBGN: KBGN Radio 1060 Caldwell uses the slogan "Sounds of Praise" as noted on the sign on their studio building at 3303 East Chicago Street. The station was owned by Nelson and Karen Wilson in 2008 when these photos were taken.

KBOI: KBOI Radio Boise started in 1947 on 950. They changed to clear channel 670 in 1968. Studios are located at 1419 West Bannock Street as seen in these photos from 2010. This building is also the location for studios of KTIK Radio 1340 "The Ticket," KIZN FM 92.3 "Kissin' 92," KKGL FM 96.9 "The Eagle" licensed to Nampa, KQFC FM 97.9 "KQFC 98," and KZMG FM 93.1 "Magic 93.1" licensed to New Plymouth. Signage on the building lists all of the Citadel stations operating from this location.

KBOI TV: KBOI TV Channel 2 Boise came on the air in 1953. The print ad from 1969 features the anchor team of Holtman, Christopher, Grafton, and Eardley. In 1974 the changed the call letters to KBCI when KBOI radio was sold. Then in 2010 they changed back to the original KBOI-TV call letters. See above for information on KBCI-TV. Studios are located at 140 North 16th Street in a former retail space next door to a Napa Auto Parts store as seen in these photos from 2010. The on air screen shots are also from 2010.

KGTM: 1327 East 17th Street in Idaho Falls is the location for numerous Pacific Empire Radio Communications stations. KGTM FM 106.3, KMGI FM 102.5, KGTM FM 98.3, KSEI 930, and KRXK 1230. A KBJC 106,3 van was spotted at this location in 2007.

KID: KID Radio started out as KGIO in 1928 on 1320, in 1929 the calls were changed to KID. In 1942 they moved from 1320 to 1350 and then in 1950 the move was made to 590. At some point in 2022 KID 590 went off the air and their transmitter site and towers had been removed when johninarizona visited the former tower site in September of 2022. Most recent studios were at 1406 Commerce Way in Idaho Falls as seen in the photos from 2022. Rich Broadcasting stations KID 590, KIDG FM 92.1 Pocatello, KIDJ FM 106.3 Sugar City had been simulcasting with a news format. Other stations in the building include KWFI FM 96.1 Aberdeen, KWFC FM 102.1 Driggs broadcasting as The Wolf. Classic Rock stations KPKY 94.9 Pocatello and KZKY FM 104.5 Ucon; and Star 98, KGTM FM 98.1 Shelley. Photos are from 2022.

KIDK TV: Channel 3 Idaho Falls started out in 1953 as KID-TV. Many will remember their slogan "The kid with the punch." Call letters were changed to KIDK TV in 1984 when KID Radio was sold. The KID-TV print ad is from 1982. Studios were located at 1255 East 17th Street as seein in these photos from 2010. At some point over the next few years KIDK TV moved into the KIFI TV building and the CBS programming became KIFI TV 8.2 sub-channel. KIDK TV Channel 3.1 started airing programming from Dabl. The Channel 3 news also appears on KIFI TV 8.2. This sure isn't the channel it was in the 1950s. The screen grabs are from 2022.

KIFI TV: KIFI TV Channel 8 came on the air in 1961 as the second TV station in Ideaho Falls. They were owned by the Post Register newspaper at that time. They were an NBC affilate until 1996 when they switched to ABC. The station is currently owned by the News-Press Gazette based in Saint Joseph, Missouri Studios are located at 1915 North Yellowstone Highway as seen in the photos. The photo showing the older signage is from 1978, other photos are from 2007 and 2022. By 2022 the building also was the location for KIDK TV (see above). CBS programming is on 8.2 sub-channel with channel 3 branding (see above).

KNBL: 1260 Radio Idaho Falls started out in 1947 on 1400 as KIFI, in 1958 they moved to 1260. Call letters were changed to KTEE in 1963, and then to KICN in 1991. Then in 2001 the calls were changed to KZNI, followed in 2004 to KSSL, then KBLY in 2006. Another call change to KEIR in 2014, and in 2018 to KNBL. Studios are located at 400 Sunnyside as seen in the photos from 2019. This location is home to KNBL 1260 and translators K249EE FM 97.7, K266AF FM 101.1 "Cannonball 101" along with FMs KLCE FM 97.3 Blackfoot, KCVI FM 101.5 Blackfoot, KTHK FM 105.5 Idaho Falls and translator K290CE 105.9 "The Hawk", plus KFTZ FM 103.3 "K-Bear" Idaho Falls. KNIN TV: Channel 9 Caldwell came on the air in 1992 as KHDT-TV and in 1996 the calls were changed to KNIN. The on air ID is from 2010.

KOUU: 1290 Pocatello had been KZBQ until 1995 when the call letters were changed to KOUU. They air a country music format. Their transmitter and towers are located east of I-90 just north of Pocatello as seen in this photo from 2014. The KZBQ call letters are on an FM station there, see below.

KPVI TV: KPVI TV Channel 6 Pocatello came on the air in 1974 as an ABC affiliate. Their original downtown location is pictured in the prhoto from 1978. In the mid 1990's they became an NBC affiliate and moved to their new studios at 902 East Sherman Street as seen in the photos from 2010. This location is also studios for KFXP Channel 31 the Fox affiliate for Pocatello that came on the air in 1999. The KPVI TV screen grabs are from 2022.

KRTK: 1490 Chubbuck came on the air in 1980 at KKLB. Calls were changed to KRCD in 1987, and then to KRTK in 1998. Their transmitter and tower is located north of Pocatello west of North Philbin Road.

KRXK: KRXK Radio 1230 Rexburg transmitter and tower is located along West Moran View Road as seen in these photos from 2010. This was the former studio location, but they are now part of the Pacific Empire Radio Corporation out of Pocatello.

KSAS: KSAS FM 103.3 Caldwell came on the air in 1982. "Kiss FM" broadcasts to the Boise market with studios at 827 East Park Boulevard (See KFXD above). Two of their vehicles are shown in these photos from 2010.

KSEI: KSEI Radio 930 Pocatello has been on the air since 1926. Studios are located at 544 North Arthur Avenue. The older photo of this location showing an overgrown bush covering part of their signage is from 1978. This location is now home to KSEI, KRKX 1230 Rexburg (see above), KGTM FM 98.1 "Good Times Music" (Rexburg), KMGI FM 102.5 "Classic Rock" (Pocatello), and KBIX FM 106.3 "Hot 106.3" (Shelley) as seen in the photos from 2010. Transmitter and towers are located on the southwest corner of Reservation Road and North Philbin Road as seen in the photos from 2014.

KSPZ: 980 Ammon came on the air in 1957 as KUPI (See KUPI below). In 2007 the call letters were changed to KSPZ (K SPorts Zone). The photo of the KSPZ towers was taken from East Iona Road in 2022.

KTFI: KTFI Radio 1270 Twin Falls came on the air in 1928. Studios ate located a short distance from the city at 21361 Highway 30 as seein in the photos from 2008. The sign in front of the building includes KIKX 104.9 "Bob FM" (licensed to Ketchum). KTFI changed calls to KPDA in 2010.

KTVB: Channel 7 Boise came on the air in 1953 as KIDO-TV and famed television pioneer Philo Farnsworth was there when they signed on the air. They have always been affiliated with NBC. The call letters were changed to KTVB in 1959. The "Night Beat" print ad featuring James Bischoff, Bill Harvey, and Armond Noble is from 1964. KUPI: KUPI Radio 980 and KUPI-FM 99.1 studios are located at 854 Lindsay Boulevard in Idaho Falls. KUPI "kew-pee" is part of Simmons Media Group. Also located at this facility is KQEO FM "Arrow 107.1" and KSNA FM "Sunny 94.3." This location was visited in 2007 and then again in 2022. It appears there was an addition added to the building and some signs changed between 2007 and 2022 and 980 KUPI is now KSPZ (See KSPZ above).

KVNI: KVNI Radio 1080 Coeur d'Alene is located in the KXLY North Idaho Broadcast Center located at 504 Sherman. While most of the operation is in Spokane, Washington KXLY operated this bureau in Coeur d'Alene. The photo is from 2005.

KWAL: KWAL Radio 620 Wallace towers are located in Osburn. The I-90 highway runs between the towers as seen in this photo from 2005. Interstate Highway historians may remember this was the last part of I-90 to be finished. Until then you hactually had to stop on I-90 at the only stop light in Wallace.

KWIK: KWIK Radio 1240 Pocatello came on the air in 1946. Studios are located at 259 East Center Street. The first photo is from 1978 and the next from 2010. Sometime between 1978 and 2010 the signage above the building was removed. The station is owned by Townsquare Media and the studios include those for stations KID 590 and KID-FM 96.1 "The Bull" (Idaho Falls), KEGE FM 92.1, KLLP-FM 94.9 "Star 98.5," and KPKY FM 94.9 "The Rock" as noted by the logos on the entrance to the building. The billboard photo is from 1978. The KWIK transmitter and tower are located between Yellowstone Avenue and I-90 north of East Chubbuck Road as seen in the photo from 2014.
