KDFW TV Channel 4 Dallas Photos from the John in Arizona Collection

KDFW TV TV: Channel 4 Dallas came on the air in 1949 as KRLD TV, the fourth television station in Texas. In 1974 the call letters were changed to KDFW-TV when KRLD Radio was sold. Channel 4 was a CBS affiliate and has quite a history in the Dallas market. In 1995 affiliation was changed to Fox. On September 5, 2018 a truck drove into the windows of the station. The photos were taken less than a month later and show the boarded windown of the downtown building. The screen grabs are from 2018. The KRLD TV camera seen in the first screen grab was part of a news story.
