KRVN: KRVN Radio Lexington started out in 1951 on 1010. The station moved to clear channel 880 in 1972. KRVN broadcasts from a 4 tower antenna farm in the middle of a corn field at 73744 M Road near Holdrege. This transmitter site is also used by KUVR 1380 Holdrege. WOW TV: WOW TV Channel 6 Omaha came on the air in 1949 as Nebraska's first TV station. The call letters were changed to WOWT in 1975. The print ad is from the late 1950s during the period they were a CBS affiliate.
