WVVA TV: Channel 6 licensed to Bluefield serves the Beckley area. Starting out in 1955 as WHIS TV (Hugh Ike Shott) the call letters were changed to WVVA in 1979. Studios are located in downtown Beckley at 101 Main Street as seen in the photo from 2023. WVVA TV 6.1 is NBC, 6.2 is Two Virginias' CW; 6.3 is MeTV; 6.4 is Court TV; and 6.5 Start TV.
